Message Well, after the fiasco with my Courtesy upper arms, I went with the Powertrix front upper a arms. I was impressed with the quality of the product before and after install.

After the alignment, I was set at -1.0 camber for the street, which easily adjusts to -2.2 for the track with 3 revolutions of the arms. I tried the arms out this weekend at MSR. It was foggy Saturday, but the track conditions were surprisingly good:

I also had this to play with:

360 Stradale with ceramic brakes. His wife drove an Elise:

Carbon fiber all over that 360:

The owner also supposedly has a few lamborghinis, multiple Porsches (inluding a carrera GT), and a few other Ferraris. Well, I gave him a good look at my Jspec tail lights as I lapped him multiple times throughout the day!

Sunday we had better conditions, and one of my MSR group buddies showed up with his race-prepped 911:

George has been an instructor for a few years, and he initially instructed me last year. He used to lap me multiple times a session, but he was unable to pass me after 30 minutes on Sunday. My lap times have improved to 1:27-1:28 consistently. George runs 1:25s, with a best of 1:22, and the track record is 1:18, so I still have a long way to go. I am improving, though, and that is fun to see. Also put the hurt on a couple of M3s, another 911, and an S2000.

I was very impressed with the upper arms. My R-compounds are now wearing evenly, and my cornering capacity has improved significantly with all that negative camber. I was much faster in several turns. That is all- take care.
