Message	it sounds like crap If you mount a speaker to a flexible mount energy will be spent vibrating the mounting surface rather than creating sound, and it will sound like crap Yes speakers are designed to work in infinite baffle situations, but they mean something like mounting in the rear deck of a sedan, with a nice sturdy surface. When people poorly install mounts in place of the bose enclosures in the Z it results in crappy sound.
