SCC did it to the car, and I'm sure they research plenty before letting anything go into that car. Also, some new cars are now coming with the stuff already applied from the factory for obvious resons. The only thing that I could "think" of that would be bad, would be water getting trapped, but I don't even know if that would pose a problem, or even happen.
