| I'm not defending his taste, just the theory. Could be one of two things. If it's a turbo Tibi, I totally understand his theory. In MOST turbo cars, no exhaust (or short exhaust) is best for spool and peak HP. maybe he just decided to be very blatant about it. The other thing it could be is a dumped wastegate. A lot of DSMers run a dump tube from the wastegate down to a hole in the bumper. Although it's been done more tastefully, motocycle mufflers have been used to help out with the sound. It's not jspec and it doesn't cost a lot, so most tt.net people won't like it... but it's probably pretty functional. I definitely wouldn't just do it to get visual attention, that's for sure.
