Also, designing REAL performance parts isn't about running with cool kiddie ideas and making a nice, shiny part and bragging that it's "custom", it's about testing, testing, testing. You need to test your part to make sure it performs better than the part you're replacing. Everyone's ideas sound good until you actually build it and measure the results.

That's why designing effective parts can be so expensive, because in reality you need to try several ideas, test them all to see which idea works best, then refine the design and test test test. Don't ever expect to get it right the first time.

Also, usually there are tradeoffs you need to work around or live with. You don't get something for nothing. If you want high end power usually you have to give up some low end power.

That's my 5 cents.
