Message On a TTZ with GT28R turbos... the compressor maps show that there can be a loss of approx 50 horsepower if the intake air temperature raises 100 degrees F. This is for each turbo... so total hp loss could be around 100 hp if the intake temp raises 100 degrees F.

Again... all cars are different! An N/A Z won't see this much power drop... and a Stock TTZ won't either. But increased intake temps do lower horsepower. I believe the main reason is because the air is less dense as it gets hotter, therefore does not have as much oxygen in it.

As always... this is only my opinion. Everybody is entitled to one!!! ;) Other's opinions may vary.
