| Pull out your current brackets (mine were BOSE so bare with me if there's a substantial difference). I just pulled out the current plastic boxes, layed them on some cardboard, traced the shape, cut out the cardboard. Next lined it up with the hole and marked off my bolt holes, once i was content with the fitment i just traced it onto particle board, then cut them out and applied a few layers of tung/tongue? oil which prevents the wood from swelling or shrinking while also waterproofing it. Worked great. Someday I'll buy the non-BOSE brackets so I'm not quite so ghetto but until then.. WOOD ON!
