Message and have previously owned a 1990 300ZXTT 5 spd stage V like stages matter. 12.20 @ 113mph pump gas, 18psi, BFG drag radials.

Anyway you guys are right on your assumptions. Most SRT owners are assholes and think that there car is the fastest thing to hit the streets. It gives many of us a bad name. I had to sell the Z because my daily driver went down, and the Z was costing to much money for me (still in college) to upkeep. So I decided that I needed a newer car and that I wanted one with a warranty, one that gets pretty good gas mileage, and still has some get up and go. My uncle knows the owner of the Dodge Dealership here in New Jersey on RT.36 and he got me one with a sunroof for $19,800 out the door.

Considering I got top dollar for my Z $17,500 with 104,000 original miles and a 4th gear grind $19,800, didn't seem like a bad deal. The car is decent in the power aspect. I beat my friends stock 1991 300ZXTT 5spd from digs and from rolls all the time and I also beat my friend's auto 1997 SS from a roll but from a dig he get's me until 60mph. They can be made fast for not much money at all. Mopar stage 1 = $300, AGP WGA $150, full 3inch turbo back exhaust $600. With these mods SRT's are trapping between 110-112 depending on conditions and driver etc. Not to bad for under $1,100.

Anyway I am going to keep mine stock because I don't want to invest money into my neon. When I get a job after I graduate and get my own apartment that I will sell my neon and start over. Maybe another Z, Evo, Supra, 03/04 Cobra, new C6, new Z06 who knows. For the money they are the best bang for the buck, and I wish that all the little 17 and 18 year old's didn't give the rest of the SRT owners such a bad name. It's tough admitting that you drive a neon. It took me sometime to get over the fact that when I woke up and went into my garage I didn't see my Z :( instead I saw a blue neon. I am happy with my purchase especially for the money, it's no Z in the twisties (which I miss the most) but in a straight line don't underestimate all of them. Gas is 22mpg around town and I average about 28mph on the highway so it's decent.

Most people saw pics of my Neon at the last Z meet in the fall at Exton Nissan and bashed on me pretty heavily. But when people do that I give me a ride and I change them mind pretty quickly. If you have a stock TT or stock 350Z go test one for S**ts and giggles you might be surprised. Oh and BTW that dyno is of a stock SRT-4. Looks almost identical to mine. Our torque curve is great, but then again it is still a FWD vehicle.

Sorry for making this post so long, I had to post my thoughts about my vehicle, and how I agree with other owners thinking that SRT's are God. I really miss it when I was driving my Z and I saw other Z's I would always give and receive the thumbs up, with the neon all I get is people in other SRT's grilling me or turning around and following me and wanting to race. Rearley do you get the thumbs up.

BTW my bone stock 1/4 time (even down to the paper air filter) is a 13.8 @101mph with a 2.1 60ft time incase anyone cares. Best mph is 102mph but I ran a 14.0 on that run.
