Message Hi Ash.
It's bee a long while since we last spoke. I hope you are well. I read the last post on TT.net regarding the lifter rebuild and wanted to say it was a fantastic write up. Kudos to you.
Just wanted to let you know the ribbon that connects to the ZEM has been shipped broken. Apparently three end pins have snapped off (due to shipping no doubt) and is rendered useless. Can you please send me another data ribbon please. Also, I believe you may have forgotten to send me the key code in oder to install the software on my computer. How does this work, do you send me the keys? I look forward in installing the program and attempting to tune my Z. I will most likely need your assistance in doing this when I'm at the dyno. How do we communicate when I need to tune the Z?

Nice to hear from you again. That wont be any problem to get out to you, apologies for there being a problem. Would you mind taking a picture of the connector for me and sending that over? It may have an additional connector on it to protect the pins of the actual connector and this second ‘socket’ can be removed and it will expose the actual pins of the ribbon cable connector.

However, we have some money we need to settle up on before I can do anything for you. There were a slew of hurricanes that hit Florida and my business transactions were severely affected for over a month because of them. Because of this, your ZEM shipment was delayed. I shipped your ZEM out on September 24th, which I had notified you of, but you issued a complaint to paypal for not receiving your ZEM two days later. I contacted you several weeks after on multiple occasions to see if you had ever received the ZEM and you stated that you had not. Unfortunately the postal service will only allow you to make a lost package claim within a specific time frame and at that point it was well past and I never approached USPS to have them reimburse me for the insured package I sent to you. I never received a notice from you stating that you ever received the ZEM until today, almost 3 months later.

The buyer dispute was issued by yourself on September 26, two days after I had shipped the package to you.

On October 6th the payment was reversed and the funds were pulled out of my account.

I really don’t know what to tell you other than I am disappointed. Now that I know you are in possession of the ZEM, before I can do anything for you I must receive payment for our original agreement. I do not provide the unlocking keys with the ZEMulator so as to protect myself from having this very thing occur. Without the unlocking keys, the ZEM will be useless, as I am sure you have come to discover.

If you still want to keep the ZEM and receive the unlocking keys, please send full payment to my paypal account, agpowers@bellsouth.net . Otherwise, return the ZEMulator immediately to me at:
