Message	your ignition timing is properly set AFTER the ECU installation. I have seen oddities that are likely due to the triggering mode of the CAS as the newer models have a different unit which require you to adjust the CAS to get the base timing correct. It is usually off by about 5 degrees when you switch over, but nothing else is affected and it will work without any issues.
