Subject	Is it possible to have 2 sets of gears in your differential?

Message	I.E. - If you wanted to use your drag gears, you could shift into a different differential gearing via a special knob. If you wanted to use your top speed gears, you could switch into those. That way your car could be more versatile on the road. Perhaps it could be possible to switch over to your top speed gearing while the car is moving, so you could utilize your drag racing gears at the start than still have the top speed. Another thought I had was to use a 6 speed tranny, but make the gear ratios in gears 1-5 good for dragging and then make the 6th gear for top speed only. Are there any cars out now that are set up this way? I know there are many cars with 6 speed transmissions, but I am unsure if they were designed for this reason. Just some random thoughts on an otherwise bad night... - Currently Working
