Spend some time at your local drag strip before making a statement like that. For the trap speed ZHOUND is running the gears will help him greatly. Right now he is not in his peak power band at the end of the 1/4. Also there is no way for Zo to get much lower in his 60 ft times without lower gears. He is only getting 1.65 60 ft times and it is because he can not make power early enough. He is also beating the holy #&**#^%@% out of his car to get 1.65 60 ft times with his current set up. If Zo had lower gears it would be much easier to drive. On the street Zo car lags badly between regular gear shifts.... With lower gears in the rear all the gears will be closer together making it much easier, nicer and more fun to drive.
