Message have some serious dents and irregularities. Most of them are there for bolt hole clearances.
What we do is heat the pipes up and pull the dents out.
Also the aluminum compressor outlets have bumps in them that we smooth out and enlarge.
I can not tell you how much difference this makes, But it has to cause some turbulence and cleaning them up can only help.
We have been doing this on our customers cars for quite some time.
Even a couple of the pipes that come with the TD05 kit are Nissan stock pipes that were modified by Greddy to fit the TD05's and they left the dents there that we pull out.
We believe that attention to all the small detail all put together makes fast cars.
This one small item I am sure does very little, But many little things like this add up to a nice package.
