Message meaning. If you are above 14.7:1, you are lean, if you are below it, you are rich. Since those terms don't give any indication of what the actual A/F is, they tend to make one believe that when you say a program is "lean", people think of parts melting.

Ideally, 11.5:1 A/F for street and 93 octane is a rock-solid A/F which my a-spec programs target.

The c-spec programs have been tuned down for 91 octane fuels and achieve an 11:1 A/F. They also have a smidge less timing on the top end.
