hell, a lot of subs don't even have that big! They should play good bass if you build some solid baffles for them. It took me most of a Saturday if I remember, had to do a lot of test fitting, then cutting/sanding and re-fit, etc until I got them to fit very snugly into the openings. The sound will probably be "interesting" when you mix manufacture's speakers. Usually, they are sold as a set with the driver's(mid and tweet) response matched to each other, and a passive crossover so the frequencies merge at the right point. Good luck,
