| My car's paint is in relatively good shape. It looks good in the summer after I wash it, luckily I don't have any big scratches on it. Here's a picture of it at the last Z meet: 
I live in New Jersey and it's getting cold this time of year. It's at that temperature where frost will form, but not easily. When the conditions are right it seems very selective where it will form. Apparently, scratches in the car's paint is one of those places. When it gets even colder out the frost will easily form all over the car and you won't see the scratches too well. But right now is one of those times and it lets you see every little scratch on the hood, check out the pics: 

Looks like someone took a rake to my hood, but if you wipe off the frost you can't even see the scratch. It's there, but it's very small.
