Message of a GTZ vs. any TT (stock or otherwise). I'd suggest going through all of the documentation to look for anything unusual, and to be sure the maintenance was performed regularly.

Check the tires for abnormal wear (signs of bad alignment, etc). Look for fluid leaks underneath the car. If you can get it on a lift look for signs of oil leaks on the turbos.

In the FAQ section, I think there is a write-up with what you should look for when buying a Z. That would be your best guide to make sure you don't miss anything significant.
