eBay that way, cause its a alternate way to get buy seller fees, i used to sell items like this....say for example a jspec headlights, retails $1600 right? well instead ill put the bid up for $100 and $1500 shipping, thats a way to get away with a 2.70 insertion fee and $7-8 of final value fee, instead of $1500 and $100 shipping which comes out like this, $12.65 insertion fee, and final value fee of $45-50 or so. Soo....if you were the seller, which would you find more profitable? If you are the buyer you pay the same as if it was listed as a reg auction BUT seller can make more money the other way.
