You're trying to weasel you way out of it. You are wrong, just admit it. Or you can try to prove to me that driving on a bad turbo *isn't* risky, and that there isn't any chance that pieces of the compressor can end up in the engine. Just remember, people have had their timing belt snap also and got lucky with no damage. That doesn't mean it's not very dangerous for the engine, and I surely would never advise that people ignore their 60k maintenance just because I've seen a few people get lucky.
