But once you hit that kind of mileage you really have gotten your money's worth out of your turbos, etc. so I would make sure I had the back up funds to do the major repairs and rebuild if and when they was needed. If not, then great. At that mileage, an engine pull could be justified simply to replace some routine items such as turbo lines and hoses, the detonation sensor, the EGR, engine mounts, engine harness, etc. I don't think he should PLAN on being lucky, but certainly be glad if he is.
