most likely not missing anything. I think it would be for if you wanted to bi wire the driver. IE one amp for woofer, one for tweet. Not sure though, hopefully someone who ones those will respond or Alpines consumer site will come back on line. As far as wiring, I think if you just find the colors at the speaker locations and that same connector at the back of the head unit, you can determine which color does what. Meaning when you cut the connector at the back of the head unit choose a color and make it matches on the speaker end. The connectors for the bose stuff will have to go regardless, right?
