| I usually open the hood every time I get home in my garage to cool it down. So I try to smell all the fuel lines locations to see if there is any smell (I have a sense of smell as strong as a dog, even my girl can not smell what I smell).. you can't always detect a leak when the car is hot, the best way to do it, is first thing in the morning. Even though I replaced all the lines 3 months ago !! and tightened all the hoses again and again. I found many leaks last week, at the FPR at the dampner, at the filter !! I was shocked ! Morning hesitation + sluggishness should be your first sign ! When your accelerate if you say "holy shit" it means you got all your lines tight. If your car feel like, "Why is the car not snapping my neck anymore" most likely, your lines are loose .. (assuming all your connectors, injectors, TPS ..etc.. are new and you don't have any vacuum leaks) Even though I have a fuel pressure gauge under the hood, and the pressure was right on the numbers with the FPR regulated and unregulated (vacuum unplugged), I had some major leaks !! so don't rely on your FP gauge ..unless you have one inside the car so you can check your pressure under acceleration.
