Tires take longer to heat up, and the road is colder. Elevated on/off ramps, bridges etc stay cold, no matter how hot your tires are. Drive smart. Just a reminder because Mr. Empirical data almost handed me my Z in a coffin. Elevated off ramp I know like the back of my hand, took it at my usual 80 mph. Forgot it was 30° out, and the ramp is concrete. Started to slide a little, controlled the decelleration out of the turn, changed my drawers. Otherwise, enjoy the free HP while you can :)
