Message	would go through insurance for something like that, I mean im sure they have it but chances are they'd just pay you out. Thats how my company would do it anyway, and it'd probabily work out better for you that way. Id say, in my completly non expert opinion, try and get in touch with someone with some sort of authority, project manager or something, and tell them about your lawyer friends. Anyway, sorry to hear about it, sucks to have to get a repaint at all, id be plenty pissed off.
