compressor efficiency, in addition to the lack of O2 going into the cylinders and the diminished ability to spool the turbos...so altitude seems to be a double whammy. I can't imagine how you guys at altitude get your cars to perform as well as they do. But yeah, it seems like a pretty dramatic loss of power/boost the higher you get. I don't think there is anything wrong with your car, it's just the nature of what altitude does to cars' performance. Back in "the old days" (and I mean the old days), when we would take our hot rods up to the local ski resorts, we would have to take a set of extra carb. jets along, just so the cars would run when we got up to the lift areas. I think "acceptance is the key to the problem" because there is not much you can do. The only possible help that I can think of, is that your car runs richer (the MAS doesn't completely correct for the decreased O2 at altitude), and if you have an AFC or adjustable fuel pressure regulator, you may be able to take a little fuel out of it. You'd need a wide band 02 to check my (remote) theory. But probably, you just need to roll with the punches at altitude. Bummer. There are alot more knowlegeable folks on this forum than me, in regards to matters such as yours. You may want to pick their brains to see if there is anything you can do to minimize your problem. Good luck, Mark
