Message 1.74. There seems to be this crummy dynamic called practice that creeps into the 60' equation. There is no way you are going to get a sub 1.5 with a stick and an IRS, but getting into the 1.6s is doable with some tweaking and more practice. Greg has a high stall auto with nitrous and 4.10 gears. There are a couple of minor tricks that might help: we set the suspension on stiff in the back and touring in the front to facilitate a little better weight transfer. I also don't know what you are using for tires, but if you are using slicks or ET streets, we recently found that even at moderate tire pressure, they spin on the wheel, so make sure you pin them to the wheel. Also, if you are using tubes, dump them...they reduce the tires ability to absorb the shock of launching at a high RPM (They also caused me to bounce out of the hole and when I shifted). I don't know what RPM you are launching at but you'll notice that Zo launches his near redline so his turbos are in the sweet spot when the tires hook. Finally, if you have stiffer than stock springs, that will diminish your car's ability to transfer weight, so a stock/lighter spring helps. What makes Zo's runs so impressive is that he has road racing springs and did three 1.65ish 60' runs in a row. He plans on putting a lighter, progressive weight spring on, and he should see some 1.5s. Hope that is some info you didn't already have. Take care, Mark
