| 1. The typical idiots who just saw Fast and the Furious. Or maybe they didn't just see it, but for whatever reason they've decided that it is/was a life-changing event and now they are forced to use words like "tight" and tell stories about how they just beat a ricer in his ->insert car<-. These are the people who join up and ask the same f***ing newb question for the millionth time, because they are either too stupid to think that maybe their question isn't novel, or because they are your typical ADD kid who wants his answer and he wants it now. 2. The people who think that the Z is the end-all, be-all car: that nothing better has or ever will be made. No matter what kind of car you have, the Z can beat it... 3. The people who will bash a legitimate question because
a) they want to make themselves feel cool
b) they saw someone who they thought was cool start the bashing and they have a man-crush on that person so they proceed to bash as well There are some great people on this board who try their hardest to make this place enjoyable and informative. They are humble and friendly, but they are the minority. Sad, but true. And I'm sure many of them probably feel the same way that I do. Maybe I've just gotten too cynical, but to be honest, I can't wait till I graduate so I can get a new car. I'm sure I'll probably sell the Z to one of the kids mentioned in point 1 because at that point, none of the decent people I mentioned will be left. Whatever type of car it is, I'm not going to make the mistake of confusing the people on the respective car forum with people I should be investing in emotionally at all. It's not just the people here now; my Z is showing it's age, and it's getting close to being time to move on. As others have said, that is the main reason people are dropping off of tt.net: they're moving on.
