Message If I'm wrong then prove it to me in writing. I searched some of my Nissan manuals, called my Nissan Dealer and couldn't find the info. I've been working on Z cars for 10 years and in that time I've seen four belts fail on twin turbo zs. The first one was in 95 Stan Beckman's plum crazy purple 2+2 tt conversion, (failure due to customer doing his own t belt and forgeting to tighten a bolt, it came loose and wedged it self against the oil pump breaking the oil pump but leaving the valves intact. 2nd incident the following year I repaired a tt due to belt failure, (belt had 110k on it) Third, and forth last year/this year both due to tensioner bearing failure/loockup. Non of these car had valve damage, even on the last car when the guy was drag racing . As for me being a newbie, I've been working on Zs for 10 years. Got my start at Ultimate Z,(I went to highschool with Cris) and was thier lead teck for years. For crist sakes I put a crankshaft in Coz's CZP in 97 and taught him how to burn out (he was just getting into Zs), if you don't believe me ask Coz he'll tell you little assholes whats up. I've done over 300 timing belts, 200 clutches, every turbo upgrade available (with exeption to the gt28bb upgrade that I'just heard about on tt.net) I've converted contless na.s to turbo. I've put 280zx turbo motors in 240s. For crist sake I built a car that Mr. K drives in a comercial (that is if you assholes even know who he is). I know more about the z32 than most of you could ever dream.
