about designing a product and the extreme capital costs and time involved. We designed my own downpipes for an order of magnitude more than what Greg charges for his downpipes. All the work was custom, every weld, every bend, it got insane! Too insane to even consider trying to compete with other downpipe options. Greg's price is VERY fair, especially with the recent increase in the cost of metals (and his price has stayed basically the same) and the customer service that comes along with it. You guys - man, save 10 bucks here, 12 bucks there, it's your posse that keep shi**y companies like RVM and the like in business. Go Ebay. I'm sorry if I'd rather support a local, or another guy trying to make a buck out of his garage for the enthusiast (SL103 polishing comes to mind for some reason), even if it costs 10 or 20% more than another "unknown" person. i.e. I'd rather buy a product from SPL for $120 than the same product from Ebay (dohccivic1200NA) for $100. We ARE talking about cars that were ~$45,000 at one point, aren't we? SS
