| There is one vendor here in particular (no, it's not SpecialtyZ) that has a GREAT product on the way that no one has ever thought to remake the right way. They've spent so much time and money in getting it to work and yet they are scared to release it simply for the fact that someone in China could copy it within a month. If I could only tell you just how much this statement hits home... *if* I had a unique product to offer, and *if* I had spent over 800 hours of my freetime researching, engineering and improving an imaginary product, I sure would be pretty scared to release anything to public .... It's a diminishing returns problem.
"hey nick, you did a great job coming up with that widget... sure am glad I got it off ebay for 1/2 what you charge". The sad thing is, even if SpecialtyZ offered their downpipes for $210.oo, 90% of the folks here would still recommend buying the ones from RVM for $200.oo "hey, i'm saving ten bucks yo!". :sigh: Luckily (?) I am pretty sure this is not a Z community only problem.
