Need your help. I don't know if you have experience with high oxidation problems but here is my problem. My beater 94 Subaru Legacy L has some severe oxidation (whitish stuff) on 3/5 on the roof and 1/5 of the trunk. I tried (in the night of all time) using some 2000 grit wet sanding and then Meguires step 1 and 2 (a couple of times) with an orbital (too old and lazy arms) but still have the oxidation. I was thinking of using: a. Start with 1000 grit sand paper first and then go to 2000 b. Go to the paint supply store and get some more cutting power (and advice) 3m stuff. What you think about my new strategy? Thanks in advance.
...guess it depends on who is using it, the only thing I dont like is how big the thing is, looks funny - Posted by: Insomniac67J on March 11, 2004 at 8:59 PM had mine uplugged for a year then decided to sell it to a member who needed one, then I had a hole to fill. - Posted by: greyzx on March 11, 2004 at 7:52 PM .
