| I've noticed that on several threads, you don't think in a straightforward logical manner. It's usually some sort of twisted backwards reasoning. For example: A thief breaks into a house and steals a TV. Seems straightforward enough. Any reasonable person would quickly throw the thief in jail because it was his action which was illegal. Now there are some people, you seemingly included, who think about things backwards. They'd say, "The real question is what did the HOMEOWNER do to make that poor man steal their TV?". OR "Would you still throw the theif in jail if it was your kid doing the stealing?". All this trash is nonsense- they are emotional arguments which don't coincide with the reasoning of our legal system. Getting back to your poor response, it doesn't matter who did the hitting or who got hit. It doesn't matter which one you're related to . The person who steals the Corvette and did the hitting is at fault, and you don't handicap the rest of society just because some idiots exist out there. You don't go around blaming others because some idiot couldn't control themself. The person who broke the law is at fault. In this country, you don't take away the rights of many just because those rights may be abused by a few. Everyone retains their rights and are innocent until proven guilty, and you can't punish them by taking away their rights simply because they can potentially misuse them.
