tell customers what they wanted to hear rather than the real story. And some people just want to hear that they have a fast car, rather than actually prove it. Some sort of affirmation I suppose. Note that George, some time ago, spoke of his nine second Z with the big turbos, Sunbelt cams, blah, blah, blah. Nevermind that the car never really ran right and certainly never produced a decent timeslip, or probably never produced ANY timeslip. But I bet that never kept him from talking about his nine second Z. Anyway, point is, talk is cheap, but it is also a good sales tool for folks who don't really use their 1,000,000 rwhp car! Buyer beware. If all a shop does is sell you parts and install them, without any real performance experience, then you should take a good look at 'em before going to far....
