Message	sounds high to me. I bought a 92TT in excellent condition with 21k miles for $18750 in June. Was a Texas car and stock except for POP charger and Labree SS catback. Also had a good stereo and Greddy boost gauge. Mods are easy to add but IMO bringing back body, paint and interior can cost serious money. TTs with around 20k miles in excellent condition can be found for 18 to $19,000. Can take many months and a lot of effort, however. I almost bought a 93TT with 13k for $19,000. Was a long distance deal and someone much closer beat me to it. Took me 7 months and 2100 miles to find the one I bought. You might want to be patient and keep looking but regardless, good luck.
