(after a burnout in which you get smoke coming from the tires as Magnum pointed out): if the car is "nosing down" or bogging, either launch it harder or put some more air in the tires. The opposite is true, if you are blowing away the tires (and you heated up the tires in the burnout box) you need to go the other way (no I don't mean date men), launch at fewer RPMs or let some air out of the tires. You want to have as much air in the tires as possible, while getting your optimum lauch, as you will have less rolling resistance and a more stable trip thru the 1/4 mile. Again good luck, Mark
