Don't trust them to dyno tune your Z especially with an AFC. I explored those grounds and learned my lesson for every one. Just because Stillen has some quality products and advertises everywhere with high prices don't mean their tuners that will touch your car are worth a damn. When I went to them to dynotune my AFC and AVC-r (THEY SELL THESE ITEMS), it was ugly. They told me the guy was their best tuners. They assured me that he was good with APEXi and Z32's. I won't even tell you all the other crap, just the main things. They finally got it up on the lift and used only a tailpipe sniffer for A/F measurements. The guy took it for a a quick test at the low boost I had it set to. Then he said, ok, let's turn the boost up and see where it's at and what we can do. He looked that the AVC-r for a minute or so and then to me and asked how you turn the boost up. This was a guy that I was going to let tweek my AFC and he couldn't even turn the boost up on my AVC-r. I've seen too many Stillen Z's on the dyno putting down very low #'s and running like crap. Any other So Cal regular has seen the same thing. You should take your Z to Greg Dupree and then dyno tune it with XS Engineering. They are recommended the best by APEX themselves. They charge the same and use better equipment. You might be a lucky one with Stillen, but don't say you weren't warned. I'm not knocking Stillen products or anything of the sort. I think their techs are a joke though. The guy asked me if I'd bring the manual for the AFC to help him tune. You'd think they sell it and would have references if not know what to do from what the dyno was telling them. I ended up telling them to just give me my keys back and let the car down. The guy in charge when I asked him if he thought I was right to be angry and he gave me a convincing YES and he was sorry. I went to EX Engineering in Fullerton Ca. The same guys you see tuning the import car mag test cars worked on it and did an awesome job.
