in all fairness, they are rare. With my particular setup I hardly even need a fan. In fact, I don't even have to turn it on unless I'm sitting still in traffic. In general, my experience has been that if you have big coolers, an electric fan is good enough. Good oil cooling also goes a long way. What I really like about electric fans is that you can almost "adjust" your engine temps with manual fan control. It's an extra element of control. But as I said, I agree, most of the time stock is best. RSR
