Message :While my car is all apart and all the bushings and sleeves, etc. are cleaned out of my subframe, I'm contemplating whether I should pay to have the thing powdercoated. There may never be a better opportunity, and may just come down to cost. I'm awaiting a quote from 2 (possibly 3) different shops. If I do this, I'd probably get the control arms done as well.
:Also regarding my Diff, the casing is in not bad shape. A little bit of normal surface rust, but not bad. I was thinking maybe I should get something like Tremclad primer & rust paint and just mask and spray paint the diff (either silver/aluminum or grey). But I'm not much of a ghetto painter. Should I even bother doing this, or would it just make a bigger mess and look like crap a short time after?
:Thanks.
:

Im plaining on power coating my JUN drag rear cross member also and doing some dress up to the arms as well. I can send you or post here pictures of my transmission case that i had powered coated so time back.
