I mean if I go piece for piece on the same kit the only difference is the turbos. What has been referred to as a kit turbo in search is a JWT, Z1, HKS because these are all dropin turbos with the correct flange. If you go to a Garrett you would need a T3 flange. Correct me if I have error-ed in my understanding. Here take this example. HKS3037: Turbos, Specialty Z Inconel manifolds, TIAL wastegates, custom piping, oil fee lines, gaskets GT30 Turbos, Specialty Z Inconel manifolds, TIAL wastegates, custom piping, oil fee lines, gaskets Same "kit" but the turbos are different which is where the main cost difference is. If you go back in search the main talk is about the GT25 and how they are not good because you can get the same power but an HKS turbo or JWT that "fits" in the Z engine bay. Is that the only advantage? Can I just clock the GT30 to make it fit better?
