you would have to find a 'z' with dupree's downpipes and stillen's 1/4 pipes.....this would even out the playing field for the simple fact, it's been how many years before someone developed downpipes for the z? you can't compare one car with a turbo-back free flowing exhaust, to one with a cat-back only. Looking at the dyno of the z and supra, it's obvious which will be the faster car, especially from anything like a slow roll. I've driven supra's before, and stock they feel laggy compared to a z or 3kgt. I wouldn't mind seeing a dyno of a supra and z with the same turbos on the same boost level, that would put an end to all this which engine has more potential garbage i keep seeing.....first a dyno, then a couple runs at the dragstrip, then my favorite, the highway pulls......of course, I already know the answer, but I see an awful lot of 300zx owners on the 2jzgte bandwagon, so.....:) The funny thing is, everytime I read from a 300zx owner posting about how the supra has sooo much potential, blah, blah,blah.....they are usually(read; 99% of the time) one of the followin 4 types: (1) an N/A 300zx owner, (2) a former 300zxtt owner who bought a supra and no longer has the z, or has both, but the supra has been modded to ~100rwhp more than the z, (3) a 300zxtt owner that's stage V or lower, (4) One of a gazillion 300zx (tt and n/a) owners who dont deserve to own a z, they should be driving a honda, but didn't have enough $$$ to buy a supra (and do dumb$h*t to it), but could afford to lower price z....so they get that because it's the closest thing they could get to their dreamcar supra, then they commence to fu#kin up the z and preaching about how the supra reigns supreme. They also usually end up being #3 also......maybe we should make this a stage chart for sold out z and ex-z owners, hahahaha.
