Message	plate a few times. Your best bet is as stated above - put one on, take a picture and be very friendly to the judge and hope to have it dropped or the fine reduced. On another plate related note: - Here in South Texas they are pulling over ANYBODY for having a licence plate frame if it covers any part of the word "Texas" A friend of mine just bought a new car and was given a ticket the 2nd day he had it since the dealer had a license plate frame installed on it. It's really being used as an excuse to pull people over.
