Ceramic/metallic clutches (ie. 6puck/most multi plate clutches) will always wear faster when slipped a lot, as they have less friction material on the actual drive plate when compared with say an organic face. While slipping wears any clutch faster, only marginally faster. In my experience ceramic/metallic clutches generally have about half the life of an organic one with the same clamp load pressure plate. As for my recommendation of the OS Giken TR2CD. I have one in my car and it is extremely streetable. You can launch like a mofo whenever you want and not feel guilty about it. I've also had mine reconditioned 2 times since I bought the car, and I don't see why you couldn't keep doing that for a long time. Expect one of these to last between 20,000 and 60,000 km, depending on how you drive it. A triple plate is way overkill for ZisLuv's application.... he doesn't have anywhere near 1000hp =). The twin plate is good for 700-750 flywheel horsepower.
