Subject After customizing my front enclosures to fit 6.5" speakers

Message I went to the shop to get some connectors to crimp on my speaker cables that would plug right in the back of my woofers + tweeters, the shops tells me that those particular woofers will not work in such a small enclosure, and that I would be better off putting them on a bracket instead, using the entire volume of the door panel for them.
I know there has been a lot of debates on that issue on the forum and no one ever came with a definite answer.

I am going to order the non BOSE brackets and try them in each individual configuration .. which one do you guy think will work best.

A second question on the side, I asked the shop for connectors to put on the end of the cables where they attach to my Alpine amp and the Dynaudio crossover and they told that it is better to just strip them and tighten the gold plated screws on them, and that would be better because it offers direct contact and one less connector to worry about.
