Message Well, let me preface this with my expression of disdain towards the Florida Highway Patrol. When was the last time anyone saw FHP doing anything other than setting up speed traps? I see them regularly drive past stranded motorists and accident victims...they leave the constructive work for the county and city police evidently. So, these community college alumni excell at one thing, speed traps.

So, the time is 7:45AM Saturday morning and we are enroute to our photo shoot at Passagrille Beach (Tierra Verde) via I-275, we are of course traveling over from Tampa so we are on the Hoaward Franklin Bridge (One of 3 bridges cris- crossing Tampa Bay), the speed limit is 65mph and I am cruise controlled at 70, as my photographer Mike is following in his van behind us (slow, cumbersome Chevy Astro Van), being passed by a majority of traffic, to my left there is a late model 5 series sedan going roughly the same speed. Right as the bridge starts to end, there sits FHP hiding behind construction barracades (I think nothing about it as to my knowledge I am going 5 or less over the limit)..out comes a pointing hand and the V1 goes off...some how between the 5 series, the van and me he picked me to give a ticket to.

So, I am forced to pull over further down in a construction area, and listen to this oh so brilliant community college reject tell me all about the FHP's new crack down, blah blah blah. Wasting my time as I need to get to a photo shoot and lulling me into a state of quiet anger. So, of course after asking those all too redundant queations like, "Do you know how fast you were going?" he prints out my ticket. $204.50!!! According to captain America here the speed limit drops from 65 to 55 at the end of the bridge, despite there being no sign to that effect for another 300 yards beyond where I was clocked. So, for 15 over I get a fine of $204.50, and inspite of my pending donation to Pinellas county he is unable to offer me any information as to why the other cars immediately around me did not receive tickets or where the posting of the speed change is... Oh, well. I have learned arguing is pointless and time consuming, so I take my 4 point award and get a move on. Of course as I am driving on he follows me for a ways passing a woman in a broken down car, and a 3 car pile up all without stopping to offer assistance. Glad to see the FHP has their priorities straight! Ok, rant off.

So, now that I have gotten that out of my system, I will share with you why you looked at this post to begin with, some pics from Saturday's Bikini calendar shoot. Wow, what a long day...we were there from 8:30AM until 7:30PM only breaking for approximately 2 hours from 12:30-2:30. Great shoot though, particulary with the assistance of the talented Jessica Barton doing makeup. So, here are a few of the models from the day.

Diondrea

Jessica Barton (Phenomnal Makeup artist, model and MK4 Supra Owner..watch for her single tubo BSB terror)

Vanessa (Boyfriend drives a skyline and Supra...life must be rough)

Jen (Friend of my girl friends from UCF)

And of course, Breanne from our Atlanta shoot...but who gets tired of her. ;-)
