| business trip back to the area, my brother mentioned that there was an effort underway to rename John Wayne Airport to "The OC" airport. Since I didn't see the news article, I don't know if it is truth or my brother's senility acting up again. I grew up in Costa Mesa, attended UCI, and moved to Aliso Viejo when I got married. Then moved out of state for career opportunities 10 years ago. I still miss the area (yes, even the smog) in the middle of January and February when the temps are in single and negative digits out here.
