Message	mods, play dumb. Pretend you don't what a BOV is or intercooler. Tell them you bought the car that way. They can't cite you for not being mechanical. As far as being at a gas station. If you are already on private property, they can't search you unless they have reasonable suspicion that a violation has been committed. You can do donuts in a private parking lot and they can't touch you. It's when you are on a public street they have jurisdication for traffic laws. If you don't think so, ever get in a fender bender in a parking lot? Cops wont' do shit, it is a civil matter. If the accident happen on the street, then they are obliged to take a report.
