Message	If it made all that much of a difference, you'd be hearing people with aftermarket wheels complaining that their brakes are now overheating. I think the design is mostly cosmetic, with functionality used as a styling cue. I remember people saying the same thing about the Z31's wheels (which looked like a fan) even though all 4 wheels were the same on that car.
