if you take the center console surround off, the speaker is mounted behind the plate. It's the size and shape of a DIN head unit, and has eleventy billion times the wiring and trickery that it should have. You're honestly probably better off without it. =) If you have like a pocket or something else instead of the bose panel, you don't have the center speaker. Odds are the previous owner removed it, and installed aftermarket speakers all around. Pop off the covers on the rear speakers to see if it's still stock (the rear speaker covers just clip in place).
