Message Stock turbos will not hold more than 16-17 psi at red-line with no hose connected to the actuator (guess how I know this). The 500 turbine wheel will have less turbine housing pressure at the same compressor flow than a stock turbo due to the larger turbine wheel, so they might be able to get by with 18-19 psi.

Had Evan ever asked my why I recommed the HKS actuators, I would have explained the whole turbine housing backpressure vs. actuator spring rate issue.
