Message	snap before the crimp would come apart from it, hence I couldnt see how soldering it would be better. Plus if there was a wiring error then to switch it around its just a matter of unplugging and switching to the right pin. If its soldered it you would have to unsolder and resolder again being much more time consuming. They were my thoughts anyway.
